Our Mission Statement and Disclaimer

The mission of the Home Based Child Care Providers Association (HBCCPA) is to be the link between quality child care providers and parents. It is our goal to support and encourage quality providers who maintain a high standard of care. Our Association not only supports provider networking, but we have all signed a statement of commitment that says the following:

As a Licensed or Unlicensed Child Care Professional I promise to...

1. Abide by all state laws governing home child care.

2. Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification yearly.

3. Maintain an appropriate level of professionalism.

4. Be involved in my community.

5. Be an active participant in the HBCCPA.

6. Provide a Quality Child Care Program.

Disclaimer:

Providers in the HBCCPA represent both licensed and unlicensed providers. To see the state laws governing home based providers go to the Indiana government website. To find licensed providers click HERE. The HBCCPA makes no guarantees that the providers on the list abide by the commitment statement standards. Providers who are found to be blatantly disobeying the standards will be removed from the Association. We hold quality to a high standard, however "quality" can be defined in many ways. In the end it is up to each parent to decide what program best fits their needs and their child's needs.
